PROGRAMMA E CONTENUTI:

Part 1: About Gatehouse Classic
The aim of the qualifications, their features, available documents and awarding: Pass, Fail, DNF
Part 2: A1-C2 overview
Explanation of units for each level and an overview of the topics covered in each level.
Part 3: Hints and Tips for each unit
The advice that teachers should give to their students regarding each unit. There are some tips on how to practise each unit with their students with a greater focus on Writing and Speaking.
1. Listening and reading
2. Listening

4. Writing (types of texts, format, functional language, techniques, how to teach them to write effectively)
5. Speaking (advice that teachers should give to students, sample of B2 level speaking exam and how to do each part including tips on how to practise each task, advice to teachers on how to prepare students and how to practise speaking, how to teach students to interact with each other, discussion topics that need to be covered, an example of how to use any English textbook to prepare for speaking, useful expressions)
Part 4: A1-C2 speaking unit key features (overview of speaking for each level)
Part 5: Assessment of Candidates’ Performance (getting teachers familiar with the assessment criteria so as to be able to teach students more effectively)
Part 6: Results and Certification (when can candidates get the results and certificates)
Part 7: Malpractice and Adverse Effect (what is forbidden in an exam)

ORARIO: 15.00-17.30

DURATA: 4 ore (2,5 in presenza on line + 1,5 in piattaforma) – In Fidenia saraà possibile completare il corso attraverso un confronto sulla preprazione degli studenti alla Certificazione, con particolare riguardo al tema del corso.

Materiali: video tematici, modelli ed esempi di attività svolte, modelli per la preparazione all’esame.

Mappature delle competenze: Imparare ad imparare. Saper progettare una lezione di lingua inglese utilizzando attività interattivi e rispettando specifici vincoli.

Attestato di frequenza: riceverà l’attestato accreditato dal MIUR.
